N. P. West is a former Republican congressional campaign staffer and a former secretary of the Vermont Federation of College Republicans.  An alumnus of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the Young America's Foundation, he graduated from the College of Saint Joseph in Vermont in 2002.  He maintains the web log The Vermont Traditionalist.
